Introducing The Nurtury's Primary Program- an innovative and fresh approach to kindergarten that focuses on the whole child. We don't just teach the ABC's and אלף-בית...We inspire little minds to become BIG thinkers.
The kindergarten program at The Nurtury uses a proven approach to build strong foundations for life and learning. As a private, Jewish primary school, The Nurtury integrates Jewish values with a rigorous academic curriculum designed specifically for kindergartners. Our hands-on program emphasizes multisensory projects, STEAM, and other researched-based practices that produce 21st century learners.
Our close-knit community emphasizes family partnerships to ensure each child’s unique academic, social, and emotional needs are met. Our small student-to-teacher ratio provides students a great deal of individual attention, fostering a learning environment that feels physically and emotionally safe. Parents are invited to be highly involved in their kindergartner’s school life.
A Nurturing Environment for Young Learners
Our Kindergarten classroom creates an environment designed to nurture the whole child and help each student reach his or her full potential. Teachers help children grow through:
Instilling a lifelong love of learning
Creating a classroom community where children feel safe and are able to take risks
Encouraging mitzvot and compassion so children have respect – kavod- for fellow students, teachers, and their classroom
Building a kindergarten family – mishpacha- where all help each other and take care of each other
Feeling the spirit of a nurturing Jewish Community

Talented, Dedicated & Qualified Staff = Quality Education
Our Kindergarten staff are experts in educating and inspiring young minds. All of out staff have a minimum of a bachelors degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years of experience instructing in K-8th grade subjects. At the Nurtury, we believe that being a life-long learner is a prerequisite to becoming a master at teaching (no matter what age group one may be instructing). As part of or ongoing training efforts to support this ideal, all Nurtury staff participate in an ongoing, comprehensive professional development training program throughout the year to hone and further develop their skillsets and teaching practice.
